Let’s get started with Cathy!
TTH: Hi there Cathy! First, let me thank you and Randy for taking the time to answer my silly questions. First question: How many horses do you have, and what are their names?
CO: We have 8 MFTs. Our Stallion Tater, retired broodmares Mocha, Jewel, and Mariah. Riding horses are Timber, Snuffy, Dually, and Silhouette.
TTH: Next Question: When was the last time you had to go the ER with a horse-related injury? Can you recall how many times?
CO: We have had a pretty bad year. Dually who is my main riding horse got cut last year nicked his tendon sheath. After months of treatment he is sound and I am riding him again. Thanksgiving week our 30 yr old mare had a medical event that resulted in us having to euthanize her. In April this year her 14 yr old daughter had a sudden severe colic that our vet couldn’t help and after 30 hours we had to euthanize. Owning and breeding for decades; we have had our share.

TTH: Alright, I know you’ve got one! What’s your favorite horse movie?
CO: My favorites have evolved as I’ve aged. The Black Stallion 2 movies were my favorite as a youngster. The one that had the biggest impact on me was “In Pursuit of Honor.”
TTH: Ahhhhh….. Black Stallion!! I could watch it over and over ?
TTH: Do you prefer to ride in Jeans, Leggings, or Breeches?
CO: Jeans!
TTH: Ha! I’ve found that’s been a popular answer to that question ? Me? Breeches all the way!

TTH: How many lifetime miles have you tracked?
CO: Life time miles I have tracked on TT is just over 879. I tracked our miles on a spread sheet for years, but TT makes it so much easier.

TTH: Yes, it certainly sounds like ya’all have had a truly rough year. I, too, had to put down my black beauty, Conquistador, last October. It IS a big deal. I truly hope you two are having a smoother go so far this year!

TTH: OK so, what is your favorite horse movie?
RO: “Man from Snowy River.” And, “War Horse” had a big impact on him.
TTH: I’ve not seen that one! I’ll certainly look it up.
TTH: Alright, personal question now: Jeans, Leggings or Breeches?
RO: Wranglers only!

TTH: How many miles are on your lifetime mileage?
RO: TT miles 946 miles. Too bad I keep forgetting to start my tracker!

TTH: Well, I can assure you, Randy, you are NOT alone in your forgetfulness on turning the tracker on ? Man, I HATE when I do that!
And, 946 miles is certainly nothing to snicker at! I can’t get my guy to ride a MILE!!! ?
