Here’s what to do when you see the Unauthorized: Invalid Password error message.

This means that the password you are entering in the EasyTrails app is incorrect. When you are exporting (or uploading) your ride track from EasyTrail to Top Trail the app is actually logging into your Top Trail account so it has to match perfectly! Upper case, lower case, punctuation…. it all matters and it must be the same on the EasyTrails app as it is for your Top Trail account.

So maybe it has been awhile since you used the app? Have you forgotten your Top Trail password? Have you changed your Top Trail password?

Here are some things you can do.

First I would recommend logging into Top Trail to find out what your current password is.

  • Log into Top Trail
  • Pull down the “My Top Trail” menu and click, tap, or select “My Top Trail Profile”
  • Click, Tap, or select “Settings”
  • Click the Eyeball icon to see what your current password is. If you like it, make sure it matches on your EasyTrails app.

OR

You can get a new Top Trail password altogether by using the Generate Password option and the system will create a new password or you can type your own (“Add Your New Password”). Be sure to click the eyeball icon so you can see your new password.

Be sure to click or tap “Save Changes” and remember to enter your NEW password or the correct password on the EasyTrails app upload file screen.
