| About Me | I'm a middle-aged wife with two stepsons. I am the Practice Manager for my husband's CPA firm in Florida. I have seven horses: Kenya (17), Bella (22), Duke (17), Pearl (12), Sunshine (20), and Rio (18). I like to trail ride and compete in obstacle courses. I currently work with Kenya in the round pen on tackless riding, just because we can. He is my heart horse, short trail ride horse, and obstacle horse. Pearl is my "new" trail horse for out of state traveling, camping and long rides, taking Kenya's place so he doesn't overdo it with his arthritis. The others are all semi-retired. I enjoy riding because I love nature and have injuries and medical issues which prevent me from hiking. My horses are my legs and provide the stamina I need to see God's Creation. I also really enjoy the relationship I have with my horses; I find it very rewarding! |
