I’m testing a theory here.  This year will be my first year riding a Nez Perce Horse that I bred.   In my mind is the love of good horses.  Any kind of horse that can do the job of taking you safely from place to place.  Good mind, athletic body that can stand up to the rigors that I would place on a horse.  I believe any good horse suitably conditioned and trained should be able to complete a 50 mile Endurance ride.  I believe a Nez Perce Horse can do that for me.   I might have put the cart before the horse to test my theory.  I bought Foundation Appaloosa horses with great builds and distance riding backgrounds and bred them to an Akhal-Teke stud. We’ll see how it goes.  I’m excited.
