You can post activities in a variety of ways:
- If you are a member of Top Trail (www.toptrailhorse.com), you can post your ridden tracks to your Top Trail account, then “Connect” Top Trail (horse) to your Top Trail Journeys account and import your ridden tracks. It’s important that both website login credentials are identical (email and password).
- If you are walking, hiking, biking, or any other outdoor athletic type activity, we recommend you use the Strava app. It’s free and it’s easy to use.
- If you have a Fitbit, you can also connect your FitBit app to Top Trail Journeys.
- If you want to record your activity with any other app, you can post it manually. That is what we will cover in this post.
How to Manually Post Activities
Record your activity with your GPS app. When you’re ready to post your activity to Top Trail Journeys, I find it’s a good idea to write down the activity date, mileage, and time (for example, 35 minutes).
Log into Top Trail Journeys
Click or Tap “My Journey”
Click or Tap “Add Activity”
Scroll down to “Upload Activity” then complete the fields with your activity details. Be sure to select “Enter Activity Manually” in the “Platform” field, and if you wish your activity to be included in the “Results” section be sure that the “Privacy” section is set to “Public” then click or tap “Upload”
Click or tap “Results” to see your activity posted with all other participant’s activities. If you have a friend participating be sure to give them a “High Five” and encourage them on their journey!
